Maximum Dish Size in Piston?

I was wondering what is max dish you can put in a piston to lower the Comp ratio?

If the pin is exposed its a little deep.  Really depends on piston design.  If you short rod an engine and drop pin height rediculously  low you can have a custom piston with one hell of a dish.

That depends upon the height of the top of the connecting rod small end when installed.

minus 38-40 cc's is about all that is practical. beyond that you leave the piston below the deck for more volume. At that point "quench " is not important anymore.
