Weiand Hi_Ram Tunnel Ram Port Size
I noticed that the listed port size is smaller than the port size of the small Stealth 8012 intake. They also list the tunnel ram as being for CJ/SCJ heads.
Tunnel Ram 2.05” height 1.83" width
Stealth 8012 2.15” height 1.89" width
Stealth 8021 CJ 2.49” height 2.20" width
How will this intake line up with a set of out of the box TFS Street heads? Is the port really that small?
Anyone have a pic showing intake flange with standard gasket?
Can someone give me basic dimensions of the base plenum flange length X width?

There is lots of material in the manifold as cast to modify the port.

Thanks Kim, that is what I was thinking. That will give me any wiggle room I need.

It ports up to SCJ port no problem. Modification beyond that takes welding.

Want to stay on the smallish side to keep velocities up and the torque down low.
Thinking just slightly smaller than the TFS street head port to help fight reversion. Not for sure if I would need to do that to just the floor, roof, or both.

Roof of the intake runner is less an issue with flow, a protrusion of the intake into the head opening is ok (even prefured). Floor is where velocities are highest, ideally a mirror transition to the head. If there is a small step intake smaller than head... preferred, not the other way around. Because of deck milling and head decking (cut a nice 1/4" flame channel across the head to atmosphere with a little N2o load... ) had to do a little shaving on mine to get it to seat all the way down, but the ports are a perfect match to SCJ.. intake to head, the gasket area looks more like a crack in a continuous run than anything else.

Thanks Kim
Yeah strange how you find out you have a plasma cutter that you didn't know you had when things like that happen.
