Use all fox swap parts it's a bolt in deal... just real tight space. with stock K I would use D&D mid length also if you are running hydro boost run stock style valve covers and space the k down 3/4 inch.

The after market k are cheap now days....

If it was a gt car I would recommend changing the k the 4.6 sets the motor 1" high and 1" forward swap to a fox k and you got it whooped.

So the v6 3.8 99 - 04 car is like the 5.0 fox k-member. Stock k-member will work with 460 but will be tight ?  When you say space or drop the k-member would that be just unbolt it and add spacer or washers to lower it ?

I'm not sure about the v6 k.... but I think they just set the motor up 3/4inch high

Yes unbolt the k and add shims

There are several different brands of k-member.  Aje and UPR and q a1 and others. Is any of them better to use than the other for bbf....I am going to use a motor plate I got from keith. Is it necessary to go with the other pieces as in upper and lower control arms and bump steer and coil over springs and such....other than weight savings. Over the stock control arms and such...i put a complete setup on my sons car a while back that he put a 351w in...it is noisier than the stock stuff.it was all UPR stuff. His caster and camber plates didn't have enough adjustment to help much. What is most using for bbf ?

Take your pick on the k member .... do the research and pick the one that best suits your needs and as for C/C plates I run the 4 bolt type and mod as needed.

They offer k members with out perches also

I also seen the k-member with the 2 inch drop.  would that help any  or is that to much like you were talking about on the dropping in down 3/4 of a inch.

I'm full tubular front and rear with coil overs at all 4 corners

If your running a plate and no mounts I would opt for the 2" drop k so you have plenty of room to set the motor where you like also you ( might )need a steering shaft extender.
