Amazing, but spectators beware! Every event you attend is like smoking for 10 years of your life. At the bottom of each entry pass you must sign - This event contains cancer, carcinogens, and is generally unhealthy. PS cannot be held in CA.

I believe the other guy up there in canada has a Western Star with a C15 cat engine making 2400-2500hp. I believe his name is Eric Bouchard. It is insane what they can do with that C15 cat engine. Although some are putting the bigger C18 crank in them and giving them more stroke. But still running a tuned stock ecu and stock heads, blocks, and cranks is pretty impressive. I know a few of the pullers around us it is either a cat c15 or a V8 Mack winning the pulls.

Cannot imagine the money that goes into making that kind of power in a rig that size. I imagine giant wheel barrows or truckloads of cash...
And the rebuild costs after so many runs.

Re: Maximum over drive
My buddy has went up to that race a few times, its off the chain!!
The guys are real tight lipped about what they have under the hood, when they need to do work on the engine they just lift the hood enough for a guy to sneak in and have a look.
Its too bad they put the music over it, those things sound amazing!!
I have my truck tuned up to about 700hp and I can walk just about any other truck around here, but those guys need well north of 2,000 to be competitive.

At 700 your truck ain't no slouch for sure.... what I want to know is what kind of chassis work they have to do cause some of the truck twist really hard and stay like that for awhile with a load behind them

The one Coga truck that really twisted bad had some of the cross members removed just so it would do that lol, gotta put on a show!!
When they pull the B Train trailers, they are grossing over 140,000lbs. Pieces of tire are coming off when they drop the hammer on those bad boys!! The one race is the Rodeo Du Camion (Truck Rodeo) in Notre-Dame-du-Nord, Quebec. They are racing up a friggen hill too!! The suspension is usually just heavy haul axles (46,000lb).
The next race is coming up, July 30,31 and Aug 1,2. Its always quite a show!!
