Transmission cooler line size
I have narrowed down the transmission cooler I want to go with. I am running a C6, manual shift, 3400-3700rpm stay that will be street driven. My question is what size line do I need? -6 or -8

For a street ride bigger the better. They'll hold more volume

-6 is the normal size and IMO will do just fine

Re: Transmission cooler line size
i use -6 also, the case is threaded 1/8inch.
I got 2, -6 maleX1/8inch male from Summit and made up my own cooling lines. A lot nicer having SS braided line to route away from heat, etc.
good luck!

1/2 will be a bit of overkill

Unless you're running hard line. Then it would be beneficial.

Re: Transmission cooler line size
Here's one i did using -6 lines , i used a 90 and a 120 degree fitting for the case and a straight and 90 for the cooler that i mounted in the fender area.
