Mid plate ?
How important is it to run a mid plate? I've seen some serious cars that don't run them, just a front plate and transmission mount with no problem. I've also seen cars, like Johns, that run a mid plate and no trans mount. I realize running all three would be the best but is a mid plate absolutely necessary?

I think the best answer would be that it doesn't hurt to run one! Strength, ease of trans install/removal, etc.
