getting there, not real impressed with the new converter, but only 7 passes on it so far, bringing up the "low side" chip from 4000 to 4600
seemed to help a bunch...
went to the finals last months race in Texas Pro 5.00 but was not using the bottle... ( flex plate / starter bendix issue)

Dang, if 'im going to run with you I need to squeeze the bottle a little more.

Got mine down to a 5.23 on a 200 shot. Next outing I will try 300.

It is a "Freakshow" converter had it made last year and never got to run it till last month due to tow vehicle issues going to final race of last season,
and weather the 1st part of this year.
I was told it was a 4800-5000 so I put the low side limiter @ 4000 and made a hit on the bottle went a 5.23 & qualified #5 last month but had flexplate/bendix interference issues so I ran elimination on the motor... and damned if I didn't make it to the final round ...lol... got it back to the shop and had the starter rebuilt and spaced accordingly so the interference is no longer an issue...



track was marginal as it was "fun & Grudge" night with a lot of street tires so we were not expecting the usual "event prep" ( which is generally VERY GOOD)... all in all I was pleased with the outcome.

Fridays testing was aimed at playing with low side rpm settings, bumped it to 4600
1st pass had a 93 nos jet & 79 fuel jet, with 10.5 * pulled out from 30* total timing and it netted a
5.158 @ 134.04
w/ 1.141 60'... 3.319 @105.99 @ 330'

2nd pass I made one change, 95 nos & 82 fuel jets
went 5.167 @ 134.85
w/ 1.165 60'... 3.336 @ 106.42 @330'

not sure why its ETing slower & the MPH is faster through out the run...maybe knocking the tires loose a bit... I did feel a "sashay" thru the entire run...
