Do any of them ever pull their heads out of their rears long enough to listen to anyone?

why would they do that? they have what you need and they know it!

big banks, used car salesman, septic system guys, well drillers all fit in a unique class of gentlemen, bob.

Wife recently got out of the Mortgage Industry after 18 years. Became more of a headache then it was worth. With more work and BS especially from the gubment and less pay over the past 5 years or so.

It's still going on...... Predictions of another bubble are looming. Plus some lingering stuff from post 2008 is still haunting them.

The government went from "Everyone deserves a shot at owning their own house" to "If those people can not make their payments it is your responsibility because you gave them the loan in the beginning".

Ahh, the government these days ... isn't it just wonderful???

And I'm just trying to refinance my house with the same company that we have the loan with. Just trying to put money aside to build a new one with cash.

You should do a little reading on what was going on in the banking business back then. You can thank Clinton for most of it.

I know what was going on and yes it does go back to Clinton also. I believe almost every ones hands where in that till.
