Fox body 9" spherical bushing problem...Whatbumper look here!!! LOL
I'm finally ditching the SSM lift bars on my car. I'm installing some SA lowers and an ARB and likely some rear disc brakes. My buddy gave me a couple sets of spherical bushings for my 9" housing but they are too small in OD. The holes in my housing are about 1.840" but his bearings are 1.794"....The bushing ears are .950" thick. I've been looking around to see if someone sells any over size bushings with no luck. The diff was in the car when I bought it 4 or 5yrs ago and I have no idea who built it.

I'm not near anything with that style of housing to measure but give me a little while to make some calls.

I couldn't find anything either. May have to weld in another bracket. I'll call some more tomorrow.

I got a reply on YB from TRZ Motorsports:
" 1.850" OD is a GM style upper ear. 1.800" is a Ford style upper ear. You have a GM housing if it's 1.850" ID.
Our GM-207S spherical housing bearings have a 1.850 OD and the width is between .875 and 1.032 (adjustable). "
I'd say he's right, it looks like the housing ends have been changed looking at the welds last night.
