About a foot of water in the Garage
Walked out to the garage this morning and after I climbed out of the mini lake at the bottom of the steps and waded into the garage with about inch's of water on the floor with all kinds of tools and engine parts under it. I guess I will need a 55 gallon drum of WD40 and a massive air compressor. And the rain is likely less then half over. Hope the Detroit Locker works so I can get the truck on the cement, only have a few feet to back up, better move the one behind it in case I get stuck so it's not blocked in. Holy Hell this going to be a fun day.

Re: About a foot of water in the Garage
We are still busy trying to dry stuff out and oil it down.
The water came up over a foot in the garage.
A couple of power tool's and Vacuum pump, reclaimer impact all my 429 bolts intake oil pan/valve covers and stuff like that and some other stuff that you should not let get wet did but they may survive.
We were very fortunate, a lot of folks got it much worse then we did and I feel for them. I am glad the Good Lord turned off the spicket or it would have been an even bigger disaster.

Thanks we are fine and did not loose anything of any great value. I heard seven 7 people died. Prayer's sent to them and there families. When the water goes down a little more we will bring our trucks to town and volunteer to help them. A couple of my buddies likely lost most of their shops and one had about 20 73-79 Ford pickups that where restored go under water.

Not Good I am Very Blessed Sorry for Complaining
Lower left hand bottom is one of my old racing buddies transmission shop with all the 70's Ford Pick Up's under water. Sad but nothing compared to the loss of life and homes other have suffered.

I can't see the pics. Dropbox says something about not having permission to see them, and needing to signin to see them.

Notice the back tire of the red Ford and the water level and compare it to the other picture in the bunch like it, that is how fast it came up in around an hour.

Re: About a foot of water in the Garage
Yes but, not just any carb., a Holley List #8156 Competition 750DP 4 corner idle circuit I am working over. May need two sidways on the DualQuad LoL unless I go back to square bowls and add metering plates which I have off my 6109's (Dual Feed square Bowls that is). Just an option I am considering. 660's center squirter's likely more better but, I don't have any at the moment and my 6109's are on the 6-71 and not here at the moment with center hung bowls all set up for it.
