Engine dies after chopping throttle
What could the problem be when my engine dies upon deceleration? It starts back up though.
Thanks

Second that. If you are running a Holley check for missing slosh tubes front and rear.

Ok it's a 1250 qft. It don't seem to like the floats exactly half way so I have them a tad under half way. This carb should have whatever is needed but I'm gonna make sure. Plus I want to send it some where to be set up for my engine or trade it for a 1450.
Thanks

I have always set my fuel level at the bottom of the sight plug or just a tad higher. Of course I was not burning the same amount of gas as a lot of the Big Inch High HP Guys around here are, so maybe you need them in the middle to keep up fuel supply on a pass with a single quad.

Re: Engine dies after chopping throttle
Im gonna lower the floats some. To have a vac leak I think the intake will auctually have to be cracked cause its sealed and the carb is tight. With my floats to high at idle it runs rough. I'm gonna lower them and do new plungs. Thanks for all info. And I'm still listening.

Might want to check the spring tension or lack of on your floats also. Fuel pressure too.
