This site...
Is odd, all any one ever does is talk in the general section. I'll post a question and folks that should know the answer would ignore it seems. Did everyone go back to the old site for tech?

Nothing right now. I have just noticed that things seem to happen real slow around here. It might just be that time of year and everyone is busy working. The site seemed to really be hoping not long ago though.

I guess I am going through withdrawls, not seeing the normal bunch posting. You almost never see Charlie post anything any more among others.

I feel like I need to be ordering something from you in-order to hollar at you! Which I will need to find some cheap cast valve covers or some plain stamp steel factory valve covers.

I think it's the other site has a ton of new members that joined after the sell out and seem to be asking really rudimentary questions. Those that know are still helpful and willing to answer their questions and do so, even over there... I'm still over there all the time. Honestly, I wish there was only 1 site...but that's just me

Josh,
I haven't been online nearly as much but I help when I can.
Seems to me that this new site is gaining more members daily and has been much more active.

this site i feel is gaining good solid core members , by networking or by via word of mouth ........ and i do feel it has been more active .......
some folks have ..i feel a bad taste in there mouth from me deleting certain posts/pictures ... but im learning that when you run a public forum you " will not " make everyone happy ....... its a learning curve for me guys
i have personally wrote Randy ( explaining myself) on the reason for deleting certain posts ...... and again this is all new to me , im sure a year from now it might be a little bite different ......... and Randy like i said in a pm to you i really do respect your opinion ....... but sometimes to certain folks you sound very crass in your remarks ....... ps please post more

The other site has gone ballistic with forums. I agree there seems to be a lot of new folks over there but I was once like that. Depending on the day I am having I could be worse than a newbe!

Re: This site...
I don't mind the sections at least it gives you a place to put certain things in that general area..... at least it is not the cluttered BS the other place has with no kind of organization at all.....

Re: This site...
there is also not NEARLY the noob questions over here, so when there is a question, it eliminates some guys from answering, who also dont know the answer. like me for instance.
number of posts would be boosted if you had guys ask the same question 50 thousand times, pm 20 different people, and after 4 pages of replies still do whatever they wanted, then the next 4 page thread, "big disaster"
