Will a TKO 600 withstand the load behind a high rpm 429 in a light car ? This is a drag race application.

Why not run a 2 speed racing transmission.

Clutch activated manual transmission only rules for the Southeast Gassers. No automatics, no clutchless manuals. ,no Lencos, no clutch turbos etc.
Jerico ok Hightower o.k. I asked about a TKO600 so I can drive this car to a local cruise in now and then. That's why I am using a Detroit Locker instead of a spool.

Tricked out big block toploader, IMO. I watched a guy punish a toploader in a bigblock '69 Mustang for 2 full seasons of drag racing, shifting w/o help from the clutch. Sold the car with all gears still functioning. No idea what happened after that.
