Re: fuel pressure???
What about wiring it up? I was just going to hook it to a switch. Should I run the switch to power in the fues panel or will that burn it out?
Re: fuel pressure???
You need to run a relay when hooking a fuel pump and a fuse. If you hooking in to the fuse box if you hook it up on a fuse circuit using something ealse you might over load it andd cause more problems down the road.

Re: fuel pressure???
It's a 95 all the wiring harness is still there can I hook it up to the original fuel relay or you have any suggestions on something to hook it to? Any other key power. Maybe the radio that's missing? There's power there lol
Re: fuel pressure???
If you still have the original wiring just use the hot wire that ran the high pressure fuel pump to run it that way you have everything you need

Re: fuel pressure???
Right on makes sense to me thanks alot 69f100 I'll post how I make out. The mr gasket inline pump showed up today and said diesel fuel only so they sent it back and I ordered a cheep inline holly pump. Looks the same a little bit cheaper and says good for up to 400hp max 7 pounds 4-7 PSI should be alright for now.
Thanks Bart

Re: fuel pressure???
It's alive. Thanks. Couldn't get any power at the old fuel pump so I just hook it to a separate battery so it don't over charge. You think thats alright for now?
Re: fuel pressure???
So i didn't run it long don't think the oil pump was running lol pulled the distributor back out and the 289 shaft is shorter than the 302. But it ran for a few minutes.
