1966 or 1967 Mercury Comet
Just a shot in the dark. Been wanting a '66 or '67 Comet for a while, wondering if anyone has one or knows of one for sale. Not looking for a show piece, just something to start a project with. Would prefer a '67, but I like them both. Let me know what ya got. Thanks

I have a 67 comet for my drag car .It is a sedan 202 with 460 power .I see them for sale from time to time .A guy in south Ga. mentioned one for sale recently I believe it was a 66 .I like the grill on the 66 better than a 67 personally .Have you checked craigslist? try craigslist Ga. If I get to speak with him I will ask about the car for you .They are a cool ride but finding certain parts are difficult you really need two to make one .Doug

Doug, thanks. I like them both, I would be equally happy with a 66 or 67 truthfully. I know a Fairlane is the same car, but the Mercs are just so much cooler IMO.

I will speak with my friend in south Ga. this week .I will ask him about the source he mentioned I believe it was a 66 comet .They are cool you have to answer a lot of questions though .Most people think my comets are galaxies .Would you like a 68 comet ? Another guy in macon has one of those .It is a montego really .Not as pretty as the 66-67.Doug

I have seen that car online. I like those also, but I think I will hold out for a 66 or 67.

Hey 514, would this one do? It's not mine, but I might be able to look at it for you.
