Cam bolt...

I have an arp cam bolt ...putting together seems its 1/2 to long ?
Using a comp timing chain set

Not sure if I got wrong one but arp 255-1001

I have stock one but not sure if it will be fine ? 600 hp give or take solid lifter cam

Had a shitty week one of my in laws found out terminal cancer, putting engine together these small fits that are slowing me up 

That bolt is probably made to be used with the fuel pump eccentric in place. A good Grade 8 bolt will work. You got the thick washer on there too?

WoW ... a 1/2" inch to long ... you probably have the wrong bolt.

The ARP 3/8 x16 threaded cam bolts I have here have got a 12 point 5/8" head and are 1 1/2" long under-head length.
