445 fe stroker kits

Guy I am looking at picking a family friends 62 F100 show truck. It's currently got a built 428cj in it he is keeping. I'm looking at a 428 or 410 to replace it until today when stumbled on the 445ci stroker kits for the 390 blocks. I'm looking at the bottom end kit that has scat crank, scar I beam rods, and diamond pistons for $2300. The top end I'm looking at the Edelbrock power package 2044 that summit has. It includes heads, intake, cam, timing chain, gasket set, and bolts for $2650.

The intended use is street with Friday drives and car shows. The truck is likely pushing 3500lbs with a full custom oak bed, c6 trans, 3200 stall, not sure on gear. Will this setup work well on the street, give good low end torque, and a lumpy idle?

Side note if one of the guys on the board can get this stuff as a dealer I will order through one of you.

445 kits are awesome. I have one I put in my 63.5 Galaxie.
Still, a total build is expensive. I've heard too many bad things about all the Fe stroker kits except Scat, so that is what I used.
Great way to take a 360 block and add some cubic inches.

I suspect buying Dfree's 428 would be cheaper and obviously easier.

Well we found an old picture of the truck for those wondering. It had flames put on the front of it after this picture, they are silver from the front into a yellow orange.
