Since distance is very important and you were/are in Kelowna all the time anyways, you could have traveled about 5 hours more south to Tacoma to RHP.aka Scotty. I would have told you about him if you asked as we are not competing against each other yet. LOL. He did some preliminary R&D for Kasse as another confirmation on flow or something on the P51's prior to release just so you know. Just ask man. Also I know of no one in Canada with C-head porting experience.

It's an EASY mistake to make when someone has only seen or read posts on the forums.

After reading Charlie's opening statement, and admitting to not reading the entire thread along with listening to Charlie piss and moan during dinner last night ....... Charlie is their anyone you can get along with? Fella www.429-460.com members, Lewis (long time friend and neighbor of Charlie) and I made much effort to console Charlie during dinner last night. I sincerely wish our effort wasn't tossed aside after we parted company!

Charlie, call Lewis and have him bring that bottle from the garage, I'll round up some of those busty women that you were slobbering about last night, maybe between all of those ingredients, a couch dance or two and a U of K victory this afternoon you can get back to your wizardry of massaging cylinder heads with a clear and relaxed mind!

Heck, a lot of people that have been around the site for some time don't actually realize they are not related but you can sure understand the confusion. The same last name, hang out together, work together, on the same site together, they are both nice people and very helpful (till you piss them off) etc . Maybe he should change his screen name to

"Not Lem's Brother C.Evans". lol!

Reminds me of a couple of winos I over heard talking one morning. From the conversation it seemed as if they spent the night together. One wino said to the other: "did that wine make your asshole hurt?"

Now I've never talked directly to Charley, and I surely don't know him that well, but all that I can say is that I do respect him.
I value his advice (along with several others on this site) and if he wants to or doesn't want to rub on some heads (steel & alu. that is, as I'm not going to the other kind affraid, but some of you that know him better, might), that's his call.

c.evans wrote:Guys,

I want to be "politically correct" and I want to say this tactfully. I have had a couple of PMs on the other forum that lead up to what I am trying to say. My primary responsibility is to port and flow the cylinder heads that Lem sells! There are two of us doing that full time, myself and Lawes, and it keeps us very busy. Lem is a dealer for Trick Flow, for Ford Racing, and for Jon Kaase Racing. I am the dealer for Profiler. That gives us a total of seven big block Ford heads that we can sell you. There are other Trick Flow Dealers on this forum and the old forum. Likewise I'm sure there are other Ford Racing dealers etc., and if you buy your new heads from those dealers that's okay. Please don't ask me to port and flow them. IMO that wouldn't be right, so I won't do it.

However, as with everything there are a few exceptions. For example, if you have done business with Lem, such as bought a SVO A-460 block from him, or bought a set of pistons and a cam from him. Bottom line, if you are in good standing with Lem and he says go ahead and port those Hemi heads that you got from Kaase, then I will port them. I hope this explains my position, and I hope I have not offended anyone.

Thanks,
Charlie Evans
