Fuel pressure gauge bouncing?

I have a magnafuel 500 and a brand new liquid filled 30 psi gauge before the regulator. while the car is running the gauge reading is above the 30psi mark and it drops to 25psi about every 2 seconds. After the regulator it continues to keep bouncing. Both gauges are new.

Holley regulator with Vacuum port for the SV1. <--I got this one from prosystems. and the pump has a external bypass on it. The gauge before the regulator it bouncing as well.

It looked good when i checked the fuel lines. Would having too small of fuel lines or bypass line affect that? I have 8an size. I just read i should have no less than 10. With that pump.

My liquid filled fuel pressure gauges(engine compartment mounted) always bounced until I drained the fluid out. Work fine now.
