legal hunting of magpie's

I was pumping out main lines for the winter so i don't freeze the pumps apart , and the magpies were laughing at me ~ I got the last laugh !!! got 9 of them tonight ! My mother flagged Me down and asked it was really legal for me to drive 60 mph across 2 -1/4 sections of land shooting a 3" auto loader 12 guage shotgun shooting out of the drivers window ! and I said YES !!! the 12guage shells don't fall down the defroster ducts like .22 cal shell's

Wow Magpies, haven't seen one of them since I left California 25+ years ago. Them things were annoyingly loud, I popped lots of them as a kid. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
