Chuck A. Rodney the 712 chassis dyno take 2
Well after sorting thru the damage of the last attempt of the 712 at the dyno. I managed to get every thing beat straight welded back together with a new sleeve/ rods etc and fix few things that were missed the last time ... pics of the damage to follow. ...Unloaded off the trailer nothing but a random guess at the na tune up the 712 put down a pretty ok number at 1028rwhp on a pretty rich tune. Then came n20 pulls we only got to try 1 stage as we were fighting crank trigger issues with what we determined to be weak magnets in the wheel making us have to run the pick up down to .018 on the last pull before the wheel tagged the sensor when we shut it down .Which left us dead in the water the only jug pulls we made as soon as the edge convertor started to lock up and the kit came on it spun hard on the dyno . As soon as 40n 30f fogger came on we lost 20mph on the rollers lol on the 2nd pull. First n20 hit when the kit came on we aborted almost instantly as the vibrations crashed the dyno ecu and we had to reboot it and insulate it .... As you can see in the vids when the car comes on the kit nothing in the shop is safe from drawers falling out of cabinets to pop empties flying out the cell. wrenches moving etc .....When I turn both the kits on this thing its going to be mean.... Enjoy
