Carb

use to think flow had a bunch to do with it but here lately everyone say flow is a bunch of crap everyone is hung up on flow flow, flow so, I guess I have spent a hell of a bunch of Money for absolutely no reason at all if Flow is so not important....

Give Lem a call and give him all your stats and I bet he will help you he has built a heck of a bunch of engines has a good handle on what they like and what they don't....

Properly obtained flow #s can help when optimizing a cam. If you have them or have access to obtaining them they can help a lot, they aren't the only piece of the puzzle. Lem is a great cam guy, as is IDT 572 and rmcomprandy.

The reason I ask about flow # is, I'm going to use my police heads to begin with, when I sell some stuff ( new Boss block, turbo kit, mini tub 86 GT) I'm going to get a set of P-51. I only want to buy one cam, so I want to spec for P-51's and hope it will run good with police heads.

I agree, 3 of the smartest engine guy's on either forum. I was lucky enough to have supper w/Blake,Randy Malik, and Adney(performance crankshaft) Brown a couple weeks ago. I was very impressed. needless to say,I kept my mouth shut and set back and listened. Shocked

One can gather a lot of good info from these guys when one just listens. I had the privelege of eating supper with Adney at the last Tech Seminar, and visited with RM on the way back from the Roadhouse. It was fascinating listening to these guys. I give ole Lem a shout now and again just to shoot the breeze a little and learn also. I've called RM, and Blake on occasion and picked their brains too, what a wealth of information. Glad to have all of these guys and many others here to answer all of my questions. Cool
