Any known aftermarket servos that will fit the servo bore on these? This bore has a step not far from the cover flange, which will fit OE covers fine. Not so much on Sonnax or Super Servo. Has anyone successfully bored it to fit one of the aftermarket servo's? This came with a G cover, maybe try to use a P or similar? Pretty sure this is the first '66 I've torn down, took a double take on the fwd frictions with square teeth.

I'd look for a P , or L servo or a D is nice has the Aluminium piston

I take that you have an early FE case , just find a later one as it will save you a lot of work , ie oiling mods

Good point. I did a 66 thunderbird C6 a while ago. They have no lube the the rear roller clutch. I drilled the case and the inner race to duplicate the later models

only 66 is missing the mods , 69 and later cases have the servo machined for an R servo

Ended up using the '66 case, and noticed lack of oil holes in the rear.

I used a 66 case a while ago, i drilled to match the same as a later case and used a later inner race. In my case the servo was fine I just used the D that it had
