Nice. How small is "very small"? And compression?

2.35 intake 1.90 exhaust. Lots of port work. These heads are ancient, I bought them from a member here. They were supposed to be 83 cc chambers but they were actually 60 cc chambers with o-ring grooves in the heads. This guy either didn't know what he was selling or he lied. After having to get all the guides replaced and some creative valve and seat work I milled out the o-ring groove and ended up with 64 cc chambers. The engine now has .070 cometic gaskets on it also.

Nice time. I ran a similar setup in my '86 last year...557 D0VE block with 4 bolt conversion, ported FMS A heads, little bigger cam (.760) but lower CR (12:1), glide and 4.10s. I was running it in Super Gas, but on one test pass the throttle stop malfunctioned and came on for just a split second instead of the typical 2.8 seconds. Car ran 8.34 @ 163 (5.35 @ 132 8th). 60ft was only 1.25 but that's due to the throttle stop coming on at the hit.

almost 300lbs difference. That makes me feel a little better about my combo. I wish there was an easy way to shed some of that 300 lbs but it's not happening.
