Art Carr 9-inch 5500 spragless converter for C-6.  Was freshened at BTE about three years ago and only ran two passes in my 1967 Galaxie and was too loose.  Went powerglide and aint going back.  Would be good in a light car.  Has been 8.80's in my T-Bird Behind a tfs street headed 557.

Forgot to mention it is spragless and has the forged front cover and anti-balloon plate. Dang good converter just not what I use anymore.

converter has the smaller of the two size pilots on the snout of the converter

Correct me if I am wrong but the 385 series big block could have one of two pilot sizes, one big and one small. This converter has the more common small pilot.
