Ford 460 Crankshaft dimensions/blueprints

Im looking for dimensions, specifications, or blueprints of a 460 crankshaft. Ive been looking for ages and it seems to be non-existent. A PDF version that has been created in a vectoring program would be great, but beggars can't be choosers.

You may have to get an actual crank, and record all its dimensions.

What do you need the dimensions for?

I want to draft a CAD model of a crankshaft, specifically a flat plane crank. I'd have a buddy eventually CNC it for me.

Flat plane 460........

I know its blasphemous, but if/when it's done it will we available to anyone who wants the CAD file.

Could he reverse engineer one?

Give allot of thought to the TREMENDOUS vibration that comes along with a flat crank. You might end up sorry you wasted all the time and money making one. Long stroke make the situation worse.

I think the Ford voodoo is the biggest flat plane v8 made at 5.2L. There is a limitation on size with a flat plane due to vibrations, or were you planning on some kind of counter shaft or something?

NVH was one of my first considerations, specifically secondary vibration/balance. There are a multiplicity of ways in which to solve said problem and it will be fun figuring it out. I will not purchase any crankshaft materials until I've completed finite element analysis and I am confident I wont wreck my block. The potentially most expensive part of this endeavor will be the problem of reduced reciprocating mass and limited/non-existent piston and rod selection.

If i were to pursue a balanced shaft approach, I imagine it would reside in a crankcase assuming oil pump clearance and feeding said shafts were a nonissue (omitting cost of course).

Ford has a few patents out of Germany for eccentric weights on the crankshaft.

Bore and main spacing is 4.9"
Front and rear cwt. width is 1.140 +/- .020
Middle cwts width is .725/.735
Main journal width is 1.125. 3" dia.
Rod journal width is 2.020. 2.5 dia.
