engine dimensions
Are 429's and 460's the same physical size? In other words, can they be swapped without vehicle modification?
Which one would be better for average street use in a Ford F250?

Yes they are the same size.
Yes the can be swapped, but their are some differences.
Later EFI engines are not a direct swap for earlier carbed stuff. And the heavy truck engines have a lot of specific differences too, that will not allow a direct swap.
