intake gasket fit

Has any one had a problem with felpro intake gasket,,, # 1230.. only the outside holes dont line up about 1/8 of an inch, ordered another set of gaskets, same thing....[img][/img][img][/img][img][/img][img][/img]

Wrong Gasket.
The Felpro #1230 are not for CJ SCJ heads.
You need # 1231 or #1231S3

well now I feel stupid,,,,it said right on the package ,,,,, Thanks for the info

Those gaskets are rubbish anyway. Try to get the S3 gaskets with the steel core.
Some guys here have luck with those gaskets. Many don't sadly.
Victor Reinz 95074SG are a great gasket and last.

Yes those Fel Pro Gaskets were always deformed looking when i took the intake off after 2 or 3 years.Although i've had pretty good luck with the Mr Gasket Gaskets lately.
