DOVE block

DOVE block Empty DOVE block

Went and looked at DOVE block yesterday this one looks different then the usual I've seen, looked like the main webs were wider then usual, its only a 2 bolt main. On the front of the block theirs a square pad that sticks out about a inch and half by inch and half with a big capital letter A, does any one might know what this is?

There were many two bolt main D0VE blocks machined for everyday FMC applications which used the Cobra Jet casting cores.

If it has not been severely over bored of cracked I would grab it. I believe the thick web Dove A blocks are the sought after ones people usually want 500 bucks for.

The main web thickness on all the D0VE blocks I have seen were the same  regardless of being a Boss Bulkhead block or standard D0VE block.  For more info, click the link below:
