coil overs
for a 79 fairmount with an iron block P51 545 what front coil over spring rate is recommended drag use only

The most commonly used front spring rate you will find on the net is 175lb for the front for the foxbody's so I would think it would be a good place to start with your car. I run them in my 87 with good results, I can't speak to the rear as I use Team Z stock location stuff.

this isn't my car but I did build the motor. in my fox body I now use 164 rate. up from 150's I am trying to help a friend cure the lack of traction he has. the motor dyno'd at 853 with gobbs of torque

Of coarse weight the car. My guess would be 25o on the front springs
