Fatal Accident At MIR @ Super Bowl of Bracket Racing

Thomas Dunford from Virginia passed away last night during the Super Bowl, when his dragster went through the sand trap at speed and left the track.  He was dialed a 4.57 1/8 mile and ran a 4.59 pass.  The Dragster continued at speed through the whole quarter mile, plus the shut down.  It is unknown if the throttle hung up or if there was a medical emergency prior.   You could hear the engine never slow.  Rest in peace.
