water outlet

HIYA FOLKS I know this is a old topic but maybe some new answers. I kinda figured that my water neck might give some problems , and it has. Trying to put dist. in I found that it wouldn't go down all the way cause of it hitting the water neck. Has anyone ever modifyed one? I've read the old post's on here and haven't seen anything.If I have to I'll notch it and weld a inset piece in it. Any info would help before I cut. THANKS

not sure what intake/ distributor combo you are running but I use a 96-97 efi 460 outlet from a truck .it has a flat cast in from the factory .

I am running a  stealth manifold and a hei dist. If the dist. was 1/4 taller from block to base it would be fine. Might have to make one. Have made a lot of stuff for this. Will check out the one u mentioned .thanks
