I'm pretty sure I still have the ones that came off of my '70 complete w/drums & long studs ready to bolt on.
Give me a day or two to check in the garage & I'll get back to you.

70 & up drum brake spindles had a larger bearing and I think a larger tie rod end.

Dfree,
I haven't had time to check on spindles yet, but may also have upper & lower control arms, can't remember if I sold them or not. If I do still have them they have almost new ball joints & bushings in them; probably 2000 or 3000 miles. I rebuilt most of this stuff on my 70 and then decided to do a complete chassis. I'll look tonight when I get home. May also have some koni SPA-1 fronts & other stuff. Kinda miss the stock appearing suspension & 351-C toploader.

Dfree,
I'll drag them out either this afternoon if I get home from work early enough or tomorrow AM; PM me your cell & I'll send you a pic of them. Sorry I haven't got back to you; pretty overwhelmed at work.

Are you doing a resto or do you want to convert to discs from the drum spindle?

The car has a Granada disc conversion and I'm wanting to put wilwood brakes all the way around and their kits I've found generally use the drum spindles and I've also purchased a bolt in rack kit for the car that uses the drum spindle also.
So if anybody is looking for a Granada conversion I'll have one for sale of trade pretty soon.

If it turns out you can't find any used you can buy new 70-73 ones. CA chassis works has them along with other Mustang vendors.

I have read so much stuff about Granada spindles my brain feels like mush ( I am looking for my Galaxie ) but I thought the Granada and later Mustang spindles were the same dimension other then the tie rod may be different.

Re: WANTED 1970 mustang drum brake spindles - got them
This kinda sucks, because the local Mustang and Ford salvage yard here in town was forced out of business by the county and the state. Hundreds of cars & trucks (all classics) went to the scrapper. Truckloads of parts went to the scrap metal yard.
The owner had a certain date that he had to clear the yard and the whole business out, or else he would be fined.
A lot of nice Mustangs, Cougars, Fairlanes, Galaxies, Rancheros, Falcons, Comets, trucks, and parts went to the shredder.
They will be part of your next Kia purchase!!

What state do you live in,sounds like a warm climate state and if so what a shame to shred all those cool old Fords?

I am in Southern California. Around here, many of the smaller salvage yards have closed up, and/or sold out to "LKQ" auto salvage which is the parent company that owns "Pick-A-Part", "Ecology" and several others.
Me and a friend were able to save a few vehicles and some parts (64/65 Falcons & Rancheros for $200 each!!), but far too many of them went to the scrapyard...I could almost cry.

You're welcome!
Don't know what you are doing with the car but you should post some pictures in the build section.
