questions on the boss 9 heads
did a little research and didnt see what i was looking for which is why the question, im sure its been answer, just recently finished a build on a mustang, need a motor and trans now, im pretty sold on the boss 9s but my question is how will they feed 598 out of the box and recover off of a throttle stop? are the ports too much where itll stubble coming off? will they do what i want? goal with this car is to run the .90 classes (9.90 and 8.90 @170 plus range) trap rpms id like to keep them around 7500, i put a 4.30 gear in and plan to run a glide, car sits on a 33x15 D5 compound goodyear.

Re: questions on the boss 9 heads
I ran SST/HR with my Boss 600 and it worked just fine.
A lot depends on the fuel system. I ran injected alky.

Re: questions on the boss 9 heads
I ran the Enderle Birdcatcher with a linkage type CO2
dual air cylinder throttle stop. Timer was on the stop
over 4 sec and I'd run 10.90 at over 150. It worker
pretty well and was very consistent. I did it for
about 3 years in NHRA D3 & IHRA D5 before going
back to WOT bracket racing.
