Callies compstar rods
I was planning to order Eagle 67003DL19 rods, but just saw the Callies CPI-B6700ES3B9AH. It is a few hunderd dollars more, but is it a better rod? Both have L19 bolts.

Callies would like you to think so. "I" don't see a $200 difference in the two sets.

I have had 2 engines through the shop with callies rods - both engines had rods out of round - I wonder if it has to do with the amount of torque they require. Both eagle and callies had the same bolts, eagle is 79 lbs w/moly and callies is 92 lbs w/CMD3 lube, both called for approx. the same stretch. Didn't like the callies myself, opinions will vary.
