Dove Block Raised A with a date code of 9m15 still a 10.30 deck height supposedly?

Deciding if I'm selling block or keeping motor original. I was thinking this is the early short deck block even though I know they can be under spec or over or even both lol.

Only way to know for sure is to check it. 1970 would be 10.300, and later they went to 10.310 and 10.320
But who knows if its ever been decked since leaving the assembly line....or if it was decked to factory specs on the assembly line itself!!

Motors never been apart, but I've seen these 429 with factory ford .020 pistons and decks all around. But being cast in 69 dec. I was thinking specs was like a 68 still, all well will measure probably

From what I've seen its doubtful that it would be lower than 10.300 from the factory. I can't think of any blocks that I've ever seen that were shorter than the spec.

ALL D0VE blocks were manufactured "nominal" 10.300" deck height.
To be exact, you have to check it.
