Best Carb spacer for footbrakng with TFS MAFI Intake on 501 with about a 1125 Domi?

Friends just doesn't like transbrake with small tire 28x10 so I told him i know somethings that should help   response with Big Intake footbraking. A four hole spacer of some kind usually help lowend torque, but not familar with the Domi's 4 versus merge? Also going to add about a foot and half of pipe to his collectors like I did mine. Also think it would be a great candidate for some HP newer annualar flanged Boosters since these have no flange on them at all since i cut them off the 750 domi when I converted it. Works really well he thinks, been in the 1.29 60 ft.  flashing off idle. Going to have him loosen lash as well one day to see how the cam is sized for footbraking, Cam is a 270@.050 .722 110 LSA Bullit. If it picks up might advance cam. As well have him advance timing a bit to see if that helps with locked advance dizzy. Any other Ideas?? He's been a 5.86 @117 so far in good air. I think tieing front down to 2 inch travel and use transbrake is worth alot, but he don't want to

You could test all that stuff for year and not accomplish what you could do when simply paying for a day on an engine dyno and testing anything external you wish.

What I can tell you about spacers on an engine similar to this one is......the Jomar power cone is better than none, four hole or open.

Ok , will tell him. Don't like him having nothing between carb and intake in this heat as well. Glad he racing not me lol.  Just finally accepted he won't use brake. Going to be very hard to convince to have a Dyno Session.  They only run 1/8 mile tracks so 60 ft seems to be, usually what is best to go on. I told him I would lend him a victor intake and 750-950 carbs to try but  he loves that MAFIA intake. Great intake for a higher RPM motor for sure. Not so sure on a 501 footbrake that barely sees 6500 rpms.

The Jomar powercone spacer IS made of phenolic material - increases torque/horsepower AND acts as a heat insulator.

I thought you liked HVH.

Why is he against the use of a transbrake??

I do, but they don't make a phenolic spacer, just aluminum or plastic, and the plastic one is drag only.
