what caliber did you use on it ?
my older brother drew an out of state maine tag years back and shot his with a 35 whelen

......damn that moose looks some tasty enjoy !

That looks like some awesome eating! I never had moose, How is that taste, compared to whitetail, venison???

Shot it with my trusty 30-06 springfield @ 379 metres ( 413 yards ) broke a front leg and through the lung cavity without touching a rib ! only wasted less that 4lbs of meat ! Remington Factory load 150 gr core lock pointed soft-point

Nice! We got an elk and two deer this year. Freezer is full! ha ha. Got my elk at 475 yards, had a tough time setting my shooting sticks, really brushy canyon we were in.

tastes like real lean grass fed Beef , I layer the roast with Bacon and stuff with Garlic cloves , best eating you can get!

Well I'm 62 years old , be 63 January 3 rd , I've worked a lifetime HARD and it's time to start slowing down on the work part of life and do more of the enjoyable things in life !! ie : drag racing and holidaying !!
