Torque converter studs/bolts
So I'm ready to put my engine in chassis and have a new CSR flexplate and their ARP 7/16" converter bolts but just realized that my converter has studs, not threaded bosses for bolts, anyone else have this? Also, they are 1/2" diameter and will not fit flexplate with out drilling out the holes which I really don't want to do. Does this sound like something a competent converter shop would/could fix?
Thanks,
Sheldon G.

Don't over-think it.
If you have a Drill-Press,.....you can do this at home.

Re: Torque converter studs/bolts
Thanks for the info, I went ahead and had FTI build me a converter, so I won't have to drill my flexplate. Found out my old one was only 3200-3400 according to JW. That would partially explain the soft leaves from before with my old combo.
