Gearing for a 2wd truck
Just a quick question for you guys. Got into a different project outside of pulling. I am building a 2wd 69 F100 it will have 31in tall tires in the rear with about a 800hp pump gas big block. This will be backed with a toploader 4 spd ( hope it holds ). The truck will be about 80 percent street and 20 percent track. Just wondering what gears do you think would be best. Thanks for any input.

I'd say 4.10's if your doing a bunch of driving and out on the freeway occasionally. The 4 speed will love that.

Depends on your rpm targets. You said 80% street, so I would look more at the 3.55 or 3.73 to keep rpm down.
4.10's will have you in the 2500 rpm range with 31's at 55mph
3.73's will have you in the 2300 rpm range
3.55's will have you in the 2150 rpm range
