Will this small crack in the block where a timing cover bolt/stud goes be a problem?

While I was finishing installing my rods and pistons I noticed this small crack.
Hopefully these pictures work right
So, will this be a problem? Should I try to get it welded or repaired in some way? Would it be a bad idea to drill a small hole at the end of the visible crack so it can't progress further as easily?

Put a layer of JB Weld epoxy over it and don't worry about it.
Use a sealant on the bolt and be sure the bolt threads extend past the end of the crack.
