bouncing timing mark
while checking timing , timing is bouncing. 6 -10 degree at idle... been through this month ago .. changed timing chain ( engine pro) sent distributor back to msd , put my spare magnetic pickup on set gap to 66k every thing was ok . 6 passes later timing is bouncing again .. checked chain ok air gap ok .. timing light is old sears model.. msd 7al3 box pulled all chips cleaned put back.. i cleaned my grounds .over last winter replaced my battery cable runs. any one have any other ideas..

Some of cheaper timing lights work ok with msd and some don’t. Is the idle rpm hold steady?
