H612CP Pistons and Big Intake Valves?
Is it possible to run 2.19 Intake valve D0VE heads on a D9TE undecked block? Or is fly cutting new valve notches mandatory no matter what?
Thanks.
Oh and Happy Thanksgiving!

That piston was used in the Ford Motorsport 460 crate motors with A429 heads and they needed the intake notch machined larger. The largest valve to fit in that notch is 2.125".

That is the main reason where a 2.11" valve is used a lot of the time.
