1989 OMC 460 KC parts
Don't know if anyone is in need or interested in exhaust manifolds and risers from a 1989 OMC 460 KC. I purchased the engine to use in my late son's truck(we decided to do a 460 swap before he passed back in Dec of '19), items to be removed include the manifolds and risers, fuel system filtration, oil filtration system, engine mounts, front cover and possibly distributor, also removing front brackets(alternator-PS pump). Wanting $500 OBO for everything I can remove from engine that won't stay for installation into a '95 F150 4x4. I will try to post pics of manifolds and risers-they look to be in good to very good condition, no visible cracks.

This is somewhat off topic and I apologize if I shouldn't have posted it here.
Sending my thought and prayers your way, brother. Having buried my 22-month-old daughter and only child in July 2014, when I was 32, I have a good idea of what you're going through. So I just wanted to send my condolences. I'm so, so sorry for your loss. Keep your head up. It may not get easier, but we learn to deal with it in time.
Praying for you,
JC

Re: 1989 OMC 460 KC parts
Thank you sir, for the condolences. Sorry to hear of your loss, sending my condolences! We are a part of a group that no one ever wants to be a part of-losing a child. My 20 year old son passed due to complications from vaping, he developed pneumonia that caused an abscess in his right lung, which ruptured and he basically drowned in his own blood, it was terrible to go through seeing my son's life expire right before my eyes and not being able to do anything for him as they ushered us out of the hospital room. To make matters worse or add to them, my father just past on Dec, 24, 2020, we believe he ultimately died from a broken heart because of my son's passing. So I have lost the two most important men in my life, my son and my father in almost exactly a year. It seems the hits just keep on coming for us, but we just try to keep moving forward. Thank you so much for your reply and the kind words, I apologize for my long winded sob story.MidnightbluS10 wrote:This is somewhat off topic and I apologize if I shouldn't have posted it here.

First and foremost, my condolences on your loss.
I have been looking for some OMC valve covers fkr some time. Would you consider selling them or trade for some different ones?

I am sorry, but I am going to use the OMC valve covers on this engine when I install it in his truck. I wish I had better news for you. Thank you so much for the condolences.

Hey, I found these on FB Marketplace, not sure if these will work for you or worth the asking price. They are OMC 460 valve covers. Not sure why the link doesn't work. Re: 1989 OMC 460 KC parts
I have a pair ( used) of these aluminum sand cast OMC covers for sale. One OMC logo is there the other has been removed and replaced by a Ford Racing sticker. NO damage , NO pictures , 100% satisfaction guarantee. $200 + the shipping to you from So Cal.
PM if interested. No rush to sell as hard as they are to find. Would consider partial trade for '72-74 "PI " steel valve covers with spot welded oil "drippers" like an aluminum CJ/SCJ. I have one set and would like another set.
