Vac pump kit

Hey all, been looking at vac pump kits, which one do you all like best, moroso, star, aerospace, gz, etc. Thanks cory

Personally, I like the GZ stuff but, they are all good products.

GZ and Star have great customer service. I've never ran a aerospace, because I've never heard anyone that had anything good to say about them.

Thanks all, probably order either gz or moroso. Don't need it right away, be this fall before we get motor assembled and ready for the dyno.

I’ve use star stuff in my junk and they work great

Just mounted a GZ last week and ran it this Wednesday.

Bill's kit was very complete and bolted up right out of the box without adjustment ...other than buying a new longer belt:




We set it to run 9.5" -10" :

It worked great: It was worth 20 hp at 7,400 on this engine




Are you running a lite ring package ?

Thanks again for all the info. G- code didn't plan on running a vac pump, ring pack is 43/43/3mm standard tension. We mud race, drags and bogs. Was worried about pulling moisture into motor. But now I believe it'll be fine. After talking with other mud racers. Plus we change oil every race. And it's hard to turn down a possible 15/25 HP. Thanks cory
