5.4 3v coils Empty 5.4 3v coils

06 F-150 5.4 3v . Needing to change coils.
Looking at performance coils and wondering if the life range is shorter. Sometimes a daily driver and some 300+ mile trips.

Any ideas of what to use would be appreciated, a lot of options out there.

Some are, some are not and some are about the same ...

Thanks. I’m thinking of getting something in the 30,000v range.
I guess it’s pick one and hope it will last.

Thanks. I’m looking at Pertronix, but I’ll check out Accel.

My experience has been with 5.4 2V COP's but I've found that most misfires aren't the coil itself but the boots or installation such as not cleaning the boots or using new ones and not using enough dielectric grease at both ends and at the well seal and harness connection. If any oil or moisture gets into the connections or into the well it tells you right quick how much it doesn't like it.I also read somewhere that 85% of the coils that get replaced have nothing wrong with them and that the misfire is due to the installation or the plug itself, I had a plug in a recently replaced set start missing, when I pulled it had a chunk of carbon stuck in between the electrode and ground strap, dug it out threw it back in no more misfire.
