Lunati voodoo cranks ? same as scat and eagle ?

obviously dealing with lead times and everything i have been looking to see what was available in stock

I see lunati has voodoo 4340 forged crank

could i expect same quality of this as the scat and eagle ? I assume its a offshore casting like them

All Lunati crankshafts MUST use narrow or chamfered main & rod bearings.

I have used that crank in my last engine and was very happy with the fit and finish.

Lunati 460 cranks were/are made by Scat

Yep, private-labeled Scat forgings and whittled to Lunati's call outs.

Beware that the Lunati-branded Ford stroker crankshafts have a snout that necks down like an OEM cast 460 crankshaft (>1.375" in the middle of the snout), whereas the snouts of the Scat-branded cranks are full 1.375" diameter from the timing register to the nose.

I ended up ordering it based on mostly that it was in stock and for a 750 hp build it should be good

They are nice, machined in USA from my understanding

I bet there good for 1000 Hp easy if setup right. Their machine work was sure better on my Lunati crank then other brand rods.

I have two of those, very accurate on the machine work, one is in my 572 with sr71 heads making very respectable power. On the Horsepower tv show a 598 was built using that crank and same brand rods and I believe it made north of 1100 hp. This was done at the Kaase shop. Mine has seen had seen 8100 rpm a couple of times on a greasy track.
