IS IT WORTH IT

ok the shop we took the block to they bored it put studs in it decked it an vated it.its the same block we were tring to go to a 514 4 bolt main.the price 675$

what did they bore it to JR ? how much did they take off the deck...or did they just clean her up?

80 over,don't know how much they took off the deck but it could have not been much,they said they could not clean it all the way up.

Did they supply the studs?

A full block prep for $675 sounds about right if the studs were included however that also includes bore, hone, deck, align hone and cam bearings plus the cleaning. I usually pay about $500 to $600 depending on what all is needed. Then balancing is more $$$$ Man this is an expensive addiction
