Fiberglass dash

Anyone know if they make a fiberglass dash that will fit in a F150?

Doubtful. I didnt see anything on USbody.com


A couple companies make aluminum universal dashes though. Im not sure how much weight you'd save. A 73-79 empty dash shell weighs about 20lbs so even if you cut the weight in half you are only saving 10lbs and Im not sure it would be worth it for the $$$.

It would be cool for something custom though....

How much for a fiberglass unit Bruno?
Who sells the universal aluminum dashes? I'm not really looking for weight savings but for simplicity. Three quater of the switches don't work now or won't work after I pull all the wiring and install a Painless prostreet wiring kit.

I used an S&W alum dash, also have one here to stick in the 81. You can get the instrument panel blank or cut for gauges.

Nick, If I send you my Falcon dash can you make me a light one of fiberglass?

s and w makes some aluminum ones ....... send me a pic of yalls dashes and i can get you guys an estimate ........ i also need to know how you want it finished black texture , custom painted to match the exterior .....etc..

Dont forget to mention how many speakers you want in it also.......
