Holley 3310 much cheaper and easier to install!!FI Tech and Holley Sniper harder to install[more involved]easier to tune if you don't know about carbs or want to work on them!!

Carbs are cheap and easy.
The low end EFI kits are hit and miss in my experience
As long as you know how to tune a carb their is no hp advantage in the EFI

I just finished converting from a prosystems 1000cfm carb to the 4500 sniper. I have to say going out and bumping the starter, having it fire up and idle cleanly at 925rpm's regardless of sitting for 2 weeks or 2 minutes is fantastic. There are plenty of videos/people out there to help with tuning. All TBI type EFI's will not like dual plane intake manifolds. The holley can work with duraspark right up front and even give you timing control if you chose. a little more involved up front with EFI, but the only way to go. It simply gives you far more information and control over your setup. You can have traction control with a simple front wheel speed and driveshaft RPM sensor, you can see converter efficencies, timing control down to 1 degree per 100 RPM's. A carb will not do those. If you spend your life at idle or WOT, a carb will do anything EFI will do.

That IS about the jist of it ...
EFI will be hard-pressed to match the power of a similar size carb however, it will do almost everything else better if tuned correctly.
